Or Bar in West Hollywood is a unique nightlife destination inspired by the late disco era. Our venue at 8228 Santa Monica Boulevard pays homage to major LGBTQ history, from Lillian's in 1976 to the iconic Gold Coast. "Or," meaning gold in French, is our name, symbolizing our rich heritage.

With a French disco influence from 1977 to 1983, our space features captivating design elements, including a striking black and gold mural by LGBTQ-owned Londubh Studio. Our bar program focuses on elegant cocktails, fresh ingredients, and premium liquors. We also offer wines, beers, non-alcoholic beverages, and delicious light bites. CONSTANCE COOPER

Famously known as one of Robert Maplethorpe’s favorite models, Constance started her nightclub experience at NYC’s Pyramid Club, The Roxy and Limelight.  Constance went on to work for Michael Alig at Area, The Underground and The Tunnel and for Susanne Barstch at Copacabana.
In LA Constance was snatched up by André Balazs to host Bar Marmont for 12 years.
Constance has appeared in countless runway shows from NY to Paris, over 30 music videos and several films.
She is now serving full Constance Fridays and Saturdays at Or Bar.

gm darren kendrick

In addition to his extensive career in hospitality, General Manager Darren Kendrick is a professional actor with credits including Thor, World War Z, I Am Number Four, Criminal Minds and dozens of other films and television credits. He has also appeared in commercials for world-class brands such as Porsche, Nikon (OH! Ashton!!) and the nation of Colombia.
When he's not on set or at the bar, Darren enjoys volunteering at the Braille Institute, traveling, golf, tennis, and spending time with friends. He has been known to take occasional road trips across the U.S.

DJ Derek Montiero

Derek brings his own custom sound to Deep House Disco every Sunday at Or Bar. DHD is a blend of all the house you love with the disco vibe that is Or Bar. Derek is in residency each Sunday starting at 5pm.
